At the Red Rock Brewery
Humber Farm Monday 20th May, a collection of barns and farm
buildings set in the middle of scenic countryside no wonder we had a good
turnout for PARAPRICK’S trail. At the circle it was good to see the return of
FLIP FLOP and several guest hasher's including CAPTAIN PEACOCK .The weather
looked threatening as we set off, with WOOF-WOOF donning her hooded rain jacket
,” It won’t rain !” we told her, but after a short way we were in a heavy downpour
! Over fields we ran, through stinging nettles, which most of us must have all
felt later that night! On down towards the river Teign following Parapricks
well marked trail then back up through Bishopsteignton and back up a steep
climb to his VP sweet stop overlooking the estuary although the threatening
rain did spoil the view. On-On again around bright yellow fields of rapeseed towards
the Teignmouth golf course then a chance to stretch our legs on a good downhill
trail back to the Farm.
At the Brewery bar in the
old farm buildings there was a good choice of beers, several Hashers took the
opportunity to even buy it in bulk! Also the excellent food kindly supplied for
a donation was swiftly eaten.
DD’s were awarded to the
following Hashers for several good reasons ?…..
