Monday 13th July with us on this sunny evening were one “Virgin” Harriet plus two visiting Hashers for WIDE RECEIVER’s PINK flour and YELLOW chalk marked trail from the Anchor Inn Chudleigh Knighton. The Hare’s trail wound its way around fields and footpaths following our favourite river once again… the Teign! it was only a matter of time before we were wading across it for another skimming contest plus rope plunging by some ! oh and there was a sweet stop! On-on again and we were soon battling our way through dense woodland and smelly sticky mud, we lost the trail and had to reverse to last mark before we found our way out of this mess. After and other mile or so we were back at the Anchor, where the landlord had kindly agreed to open up specially for us and provide his usual excellent sausage and chips all soon washed down with a pint or two. Down-down time and the awards went to…..DRAG ACT for cutting short and it was her Birthday !
LAST of the MOHICANS for battling with the pub door before opening time!
RAMBO for going to another Hash on a previous Monday, he donated his drink to
one of the Visitors.
Finally a DD to WIDE RECEIVER for an excellent evening.
