Another epic run from the Forrests....

Run No. 1589  on Monday 7th June, a good turn out on a great sunny evening (for a change) at the Bridford Inn Bridford for Forrest and F / Humps trail, where new virgin Hasher Nick was duly “anointed” by Teapot. Forrest produced a long list of Trail instructions L/S S/S F/S Fish-hooks etc. etc. but only remembering as we ran off to call out that his trail was in sawdust overlapping Haldon's trail laid in flour! which did confuse some later when the trails crossed. On this excellent evening it was good to out in such scenic area as DEEP SEMEN commented to me, the only problem being, that if I looked up I may go down! as we crossed the tricky heath land. We did meet up with Haldon after the reservoirs but I don’t think they were going to be out as long as we were! Under the guidance of DRAG ACT, PIDDLER and I found ourselves leading the pack, although we may have cut short after Kennick. Along woodland tracks, lanes, fields Forrest threw everything at us, at the fruit stop outside the flooded Quarry, it was no swimming due to fish spawning and also the farmer and his wife were there enjoying a quiet evening (photo). Eventually at approx 9:30 we finally all made it On Home. Although COLDTITZ appeared at 10:15 with her “award” but by then it was all over and the DD's had already been awarded to :-
FORREST HUMP for altering the Trail.
