It was Sad to hear from TEAPOT that our long time member and ex Hash Cash McWOT ( Mike McElheron) is currently in Torbay hospital after a very nasty fall from which we do all wish him a speedy recovery.
The pairs trail billed as being not too challenging with two L/S splits especially laid for those who had completed the Grizzly the day before, did ended up being quite a challenge, leading us out along roads over fields through woodland over streams up hills along lanes, with the likes of “Grizzly Survivor” WET JOHNNY on Long with me, still on a high unlike WET FART who found himself on his own “Grizzly” encounter having missed the first Short turning.
Eventually back in the Claycutters for a reviving drink before the DD awards with the first one going to
WIGWAM for going off trail leading SATNAV and others astray .
TEAPOT caught by late arriving ZEN already heading On Home for medical reasons??
