Trail #1685 Mon 3rd April at the Kings Arms, Kingsteignton: Hares:
Piltdown & Georgy P Orgy. A good turnout at our Circle included the
return of SPARKIE with son POINT FOUR (named at our #1234 Weekend in
2008 when Hashers payments were 0.4 over) also present were SPICE GIRL
and SADDLE SORE back from Uni.
The Hares 4 mile-ish Long trail led us out of of the village after several Checks, down into Hackney Marshes, where at the sight of a stream MOULDY DICK was in his element pushing in and splashing unsuspecting Hashers.
On On we tracked on a well marked trail through the mud and water to the banks of the river Teign, then up hill to Hackney Lane, next off road to Ware Barton Farm and on towards the old Bickley Ball Tip, with another L/S split, before turning towards the A380 bridge, which led us back into Kingsteignton.
Young POINT FOUR was running well and as usual observing what others were doing and wearing, someone he mentioned, possibly BEEFCAKE? was wearing long trousers and boots!
The trail had been trouble free until PIDDLER and Co had reached the On-Home arrow mark which had led them up blind alley!
Inside The Kings Arms in was soon time for the DD's before the excellent Hash Food was shared amongst us followed by ABLE SEMEN's excellent Cream Scones.... with jam on-top!
The DD offenders were :-
MOULDY DICK for short cutting the trail and...
MOULDY DICK for splashing mud and water over the Pack.
GEORGY-P-ORGY for that confusing ON HOME arrow.
SADDLE SORE & SPICE GIRL...just good to see you back!
