Monday 15th
September at Bridford for Forrest's Birthday Hash. After a lot of
manoeuvring around we managed to squeeze as many of our cars as
possible into the pubs car park! At the circle one virgin Hasher from
Drag Act's gang of young athletes? The trail with the assistance of
Woodlend and Forrest Hump had many checks and one sweet stop which
turned out to after a climb to the top of Heltor Rock to have no
sweets! Just a Sweet Fishhook? On-On along lanes and fields to a real
Stop, this time a Fruit Stop with Pineapple which was delicious.
Getting dark now and as we entered the woodlands to Kenning Reservoir
torches were certainly needed to find that trail! As after checking I
was on my own to catch up with the pack, if my head-torch failed now
I would still be in there! Eventually a long down hill run on the
footpaths took us back to civilisation... Bridford!

Bridford Inn had a Hash Menu from which most chose the excellent Stew
dish.Down Downs were
awarded to TEAPOT for parking his car over two spaces in the car
park! REAR ENDER for still
being weary after her sailing expedition with the Coldtitz crew!
FALLEN WOMAN for her
600 RUNS badge (now nearer 700 she said )and to FORREST STUMP
for his Birthday and a great evening.
