Its all Smoke and Water !

Run No 1591 on Mon 22nd June at Preston seafront for Bogof's Birthday BBQ and Hash Trail. At the circle a welcome to four visiting Harriet's in swimming gear? there had been a posting somewhere “wear Beachwear”, which most of us did not see, but they did look great and certainly the toot from passing drivers agreed ! Boggy's trail took us along the seafront up and over the cliffs to Hollicombe on a well marked trail, with a check nearly every 100 metres. On-On towards Cockington where some including me took the wrong route, but caught up at the sweet stop near the gamekeepers cottage. On up through the woodlands, on a great sunny evening to Scadson Woods and then up back towards Hollicombe, where WOOF WOOF was enjoying the rides in children’s playground, eventually back to the seafront with a good run in back to Preston Green. Boggy's BBQ on the Council site was soon giving off clouds of smoke as we juggled for the best place for our precious food on the smoking inferno. While some including WIGWAM, WIDE & MELLON PICKER decided to take a cool ( very cool!) dip in the sea PIDDLER was nearly decapitating us all with that Frisbee ring. As we had drunk most of our own beer there was only just enough found for a DD to celebrate, with all the right notes in the wrong order, a birthday song to the two Hasher’s BOGOF and SATNAV.
