# Trail 1618
Christmas Raffle & Trail from The Clay Cutters Arms Chudleigh
Knighton, Hares Soapy and Mellon Picker. Good numbers attending at
our Circle all with hopes of prizes later along with one visitor from
the Mendip Hash with no # name as they don't use them?? On On now
following a well marked around the village with plenty of checks to
slow those FRB's, along muddy tracks then into woodland, about here
my “war wound” was telling me to slow down, so after stepping
over fallen trees it was just me with BOBBIBALL at the rear ready to
plunge into a swiftly moving stream I chose a good spot to cross
while Bobbi decided on another but it was the getting out over the
muddy bank caused a problem. As the pack had now completely
disappeared and we were now almost back in the village the temptation
to cut short now was too much. As we changed in the CP we were soon
joined by some of the short and WARM FRONT who was Home well ahead of
the chasing pack. In the Clays, as the pub is know, Soapy had arrange
a very welcome free drink for all paid up members ! the landlord had
put on a good buffet, although the sausages had all been devoured by
the time us the tail end reached the spread, but other choices were
soon topped up! SATNAV had done an excellent job choosing and setting
up the Raffle prizes with her great team of helpers already to
control the rush, the hopefuls keenly surveyed the many top quality
prizes that could be won if you were lucky and invested well! But
first the DD's with a new Hash-It shirt awarded to yours truly
WINFIELD for bumping his car in the CP along with BROKEN MAN who had
also bumped his Camper on a wall.Mendip man named
PHIL M'CAVETY. SLACKER an 18th
Birthday DD can now officially? drink beer WINFIELD again this
time with his 1000 RUNS Polo Shirt at last. Well done the Hares
for an excellent evening and.......
WISHING YOU ALL A
VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS
