Mon 15th May. Circle up in the East Cliff Car Park, Teignmouth for WIDE
RECEIVERS trail #1691,which BEEFCAKE reminded our numerologists to
celebrate its rotational symmetry.
Good to see back with us after a long break FLOWERY TWATS and also ERNIE from Tamar H3. Once again a GM reminder that our AGPU is next week at Broadhempston.
WIDE'S trail led us first up and around the many pathways in Mules Park before finally emerging on the cliff top fields with some great views back over Teignmouth.
Soon we were on Long crossing the Dawlish road on to the winding lane into Holcombe, before recrossing that road again, into Smugglers Lane going and down hill catching up with the Short as we headed towards the sea.
The sea was a little rough and coming over the pathway in places, as we headed on towards Sprey Point, where we found a reviving Sweet Stop, after a photo call on the “Teignmouth” rail sign it was time to go On-On!
The tide was moving slowly out now just giving MOULDY and TINY TANKS a small space to run on the beach, without getting too wet! and make it along into Teignmouth.
A final L/S split took the Longs on towards the Pier on a loop, while the Short route led back up into the car park for a quick change before heading to Wetherspoons “The Jolie Brise”
After finding space in a corner of the huge “Spoons” bar it was soon time for the Down-Downs, with the first one going to:-
U-BEND for suggesting a group Mooning as a train passed Sprey Point.
PIDDLER retained the very dirty Pillock shirt, having wiped over a dirty wet car with it.
CATHY a naming and finally christened SCREWED.
WIDE RECEIVER for having a flour climax over Mouldy's car!
Well done Wide Receiver for an excellent trail and evening.
On to next week, it's that AGPU at last! after FUKAWE'S trail from the Monks Retreat at Broadhempston with Hash Food afterwards!.
