On Mon 27th June #1645, Circle up at the Keyberry Arms, DECOY Newton Abbot for Hare's TEARARSE & MATEUS ROS'Es first lay. There were more Hashers present this week although some were still watching football somewhere. Good to see back amongst us RASPBERRY NIPPLE retuned at last from darkest Africa. On another bright sunny evening it was on-on, with the pairs trail of 3+ or 5+ miler starting with a devious trail around the streets and alleys of Decoy/Newton just to confuse us. Firstly we were heading towards the Penn Inn area, then after a L/S split we were on up all those steps to the top of Wolborough hill arriving later at a Wolborough church check, where 69ER appeared from the church yard... checking for a plot? and MOULDY was also coming back from a possible route to Abbotskerswell? this excellent check did cause some confusion, before finally we found the almost concealed trail behind us leading on down hill to where we met ARCHANGEL.. late again on parade! On On the trail led us towards Coach Road then into Decoy Woods, where I decided to cut short, being pleased to have run some at least some of the trail this week, while the pack headed on trail weaving in and out around Decoy Woods. Inside the Keyberry Arms OD the football was on which was interesting until Iceland's second goal, so there will be no England football next week! The landlady had provided a much enjoyed buffet for us and the DD beers which were awarded to ….
RASPBERRY NIPPLE for having missed all those DDs while away.
ARCHANGEL for being late and cutting out half of the trail.
SHRIVEL DICK for failing miserably to avoid getting stung by the nettles
SLIP-On-ME her Birthday song and a 50 Runs badge.
Well done TEARARSE & MATEUS ROS'E for an excellent trail and evening.
