An historic moment as we Circled up for our 1700th Run on 17-7-2017 at
the Park Inn Kingskerswell, for Hare PARAPRICK and THREESOME's trail,
with a specially designed commemorative T-Shirts distributed on time by
ZOOT, to whom we are all very grateful.
GM's PILTDOWN had his usual quiz question ready “Who was the King in 1700?” correct answer William 3rd came first from POLLYFELLA, in spite of PIDDLER calling our every King he could think of!
The Hares trail led us firstly around the houses then into a park play area led by MOULDY DICK, passing some young boys who asked what that shirt name meant? as that name certainly was not in RONALDO's team!
After “playtime” and a search for hidden Duck papers it was On-On to THREESOMES abode where excellent drinks and nibbles were waiting for the hungry hoard.
As our ex Hash Cash McWOT lived opposite it was great to see him and VERA with us and looking good after his very nasty fall.
Time to move on now, on and on up the winding lanes of Coffinswell to PARA's abode I was running with some difficulty now having had my toe squashed under SPARKIE's trailer and the passing PARA mobile at this point came in very useful!
Another great welcome awaited us at PARA's pad where we were very grateful for a shot of Rum and many other choices of excellent food and drinks distributed by NICE BUNS and Mrs PARA.
It was a hard job to drag ourselves away especially the Park Inn landlords son Adam, as the seting sun produced a brilliant red sky, we made our way back and down through Aller Quarry to the On Home.
After yet more food and a slice of SOAPY's excellent cake it was time for the DDS which were awarded to:-
WIDE RECEIVER for his Zip Wire exhibition in the playground.
ADAM the landlords son got his virgin drink!
SADDLE SORE and PRICKLEE BUSH had their Birthday free drinks!
Thank you to PARAPRICK & Co and THREESOME for a memorable evening.
On to next week at Hunters Brewery, Bulleigh Barton Farm, Archangel & Only Here for the Beer
On On
